A Love Letter to 2014

Usually at the end of a year, I am seriously done with it.

I know.

That's kind of mean.

But at the end of 2014, I'm not.

2014 was a dream!  It was beautiful and hard.  I cried a lot, but I also laughed a lot and smiled a lot, so things even out, I suppose.

I finished my full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I met some people who will be my friends for the rest of eternity.  I finally got the help I needed to deal with my perfectionist tendencies.  I learned how to ride a bicycle in a skirt.  I spent 1.5 blessed months living with my parents again.  I'm telling you, it was the best!

I feel no urgency to get rid of 2014, but It's already gone.  So this year, instead of burying 2014 in a deep hole to be forgotten, I'm sending it off into the past with kisses fond memories.  And saying a hearty, "Oh, hi!" to 2015.  I feel like you could be equally awesome.

Love,

McSweet
